He is survived by: his children, Deborah and Robert; his daughter-in-law Lucy Ballard; his granddaughter Jane Sheffield (Quinton); his great grandchild Nora Sheffield; his cousin James Richardson (Carol) of Mitchell; and his siblings-in-law, Ernest G. Cave of French Lick, Kenneth Cave (Auretta) of Dubois, Eva Flo Cave of Dubois and Alta Cave of French Lick.
