With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Lewis Stanley (Chesapeake, Virginia), born in Hanover, Virginia, who passed away on June 29, 2021 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Susie West and Alonza Stanley. He is survived by: his wife Mary McConnell Stanley; his daughter Deborah Stecher (Robert); and his sister Jenny McCoy (Charles). He is also survived by three granddaughters and nine great grandchildren.

Contributions in his honor in lieu of flowers can be made to Talbot Park Baptist Church, 6919 Granby St, Norfolk, VA.
