He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Brinkley Pennington; his son Timothy Michael Pennington (Kelly); his grandchildren, Olivia Pennington, Ashleigh Wallace, Adam Pennington and Laurence J. Wallace; and his brother R. Wayne Pennington. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and dear friends.
