He was predeceased by : his parents, Elmo Spencer and Irma Spencer; and his brother William "Billy" Spencer. He is survived by : his wife Sue Spencer; his daughters, Tricia Malan-Dodson (Carl), Laura Daughtrey, Elaine Joyce (Richard) and Rebecca Joye (Jeffrey); his grandchildren, Emily Hannah, Christopher Daughtrey, Jeremy Joyce, Ashleigh Langlands (Russell), David Malan (Elizabeth), Lauren Wilt (Timothy), Robert Malan, Katherine Joye, Daniel Joye and Melissa Joye; and his sister Doris "Dottie" Harris. He is also survived by ten great grandchildren.
