With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jeanette Carawan of Chesapeake, Virginia, who passed away on September 13, 2021 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Cecil Davenport and Bettie Davenport; her husband James "Jimmy" Carawan; her daughters, Sandy McGee (Kevin) and Leasa Meroney (Chris); her sisters, Ann Stone and Carol Barksdale; and her grandchildren, Alyssa Hinchee, Veronia Rupert, Leona McGee and Jakob McGee.
She was a long time sufferer of Parkinson's disease and dementia for many years but she is now finally at peace.
