He was predeceased by: his parents, Garland Dent and Willie Mae Dent. He is survived by: his wife Ethel Mae Dent; and his sons, Larry C. Dent, Jr., Nathaniel E. Dent and Christopher E. Dent. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; uncles, cousins, in-laws, other relatives and friends.
