She is survived by: her parents, Curtis John and Melinda Alvarez Commander; her brother Curt Commander; her fiancé Zachary N. Walker; her grandparents, Teresa, Leroy Brandt of Chesapeake, Joe Alvarez (Alma), Tom M. Commander, Sr. and Jewell Wood; her cousin Carol Commander; and her uncles, Tom M. Commander, Jr. (Sammie) and David Alvarez (Michelle). She is also survived by many cousins, extended family members, friends.
