She is survived by: her sisters, Bernice Clark (Baby Sister) and Ella Moses (Mopsy); her former husband Samuel Ponton; her daughter Glenda Renee Tompkins; her grandchildren, Milton Gerard Tompkins, Latarsha Hardy, Nishelle Scott, Scotty Lynn Scott and Samuel Smith Christopher Vogel; and her cousin Sweets. She is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
