He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Bolton and Lou Bolton; his former wife Phyllis T. Bolton; his wife Katherine E. Bolton; his son David L. Bolton; and his siblings, Naomi Bolton, Delias Sampson Bolton and Lonnie Bolton.
He is survived by: his daughter Donna B. Martin (Archie); his stepsons, Claude W. Cesil (Laurie), Robert M. "Buddy" Cesil (Kerry), B. H. Barton and Michael Barton; and his sisters, Leona Black and Martha Bolton. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.
