He was predeceased by: his nephew Zakary R. Metzner; his grandparents, Charles, Twila Hutson and Naomi DeFord; and his father-in-law Wayne Vaught.
He is survived by: his wife Melissa DeFord; his children, Brittany DeFord and Justin DeFord (Kayla); his parents, Janet DeFord and Maurice DeFord; his sisters, Myrna DeFord and Melissa Clark (John); and his grandchildren, Kayden, Luke, Kierra and Karter. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
