He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Luther and Lydia Margaret Stamper (Parsons); his siblings, Robert "Bob" Stamper, Jerry Stamper, Steve Stamper, Jeff Stamper, Billy Stamper and Linda Mros; and his in-laws, Barbara Stamper, Gene Hayden and Lois.
He is survived by: his wife Connie Carol Stamper (Davis); his children, John Wesley "Wes" Stamper and Christine Marie Stamper; his siblings, Jack Stamper (Mary Ann), Tim Stamper (Lora), Jimmy Stamper (Mary), Charles "Buster" Stamper, Brenda Hayden and Judy C. Stamper; his aunt Irene; and his in-laws, Rhonda Stamper, Carolyn Stamper, Jim Mros, Cassie Stamper, Vickie, David Cooper and Kim Callahan. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Fraziers' Seaver-Brown Chapel (237 E Main St, Marion, VA 24354). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at the McClure Cemetery.
