She was predeceased by : her parents, Clayton Brittingham and Margaret Brittingham (Mumford); her husband Carey Howard; her son Shaney Howard; her brother Larry Brittingham (Butch); her son-in-law Gregory Birch; her siblings-in-law, Mitchell, Darrell Howard and Josephine Howard; her nephew Scott Howard; and her mother-in-law Mary.

She is survived by : her daughter Susan Pertsch (Charlie) of Chincoteague, VA; her daughter-in-law Vanessa East of McKenzie Bridge, OR; her grandchildren, Carter, Hannah, Christian Birch and Owen Young; her brother Michael Brittintgham (Jeanne) of Parsonsburg, MD; her siblings-in-law, Paula Brittingham of Laurel, DE and Terry Howard (Judy) of Chincoteague, VA; and her pets, Vera and Poosy. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
