It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carrie Brown of Chincoteague Island, Virginia, who passed away on October 7, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Carrie Brown to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Robert Holston and Daisey Holston (Jester); her husband William Brown; her grandson Christopher Wuelzer; her former life partner Charles Hardin; her sister Shirley; and her brother-in-law Harold Quillen.

She is survived by : her children, Charles Michael Hardin of Chincoteague Island, VA and Lorie Terry (Micheal) of Chincoteague Island, VA; her grandchildren, Carrie White (Chris) of Fredericksburg, VA, Brian Wuelzer of Chincoteague Island, VA and Justin Terry of Chincoteague Island, VA; her brother Robert Lee Holston Jr. (Barbara); and her close friend Linda Bailey (Gary) of Wallops Island, VA. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
