He was predeceased by: his mother Bettye Hines; his sister Sheryl Duncan; and his stepmother Carolyn A. Hines. He is survived by: his father Lewis Gray Hines; his brothers, Donald G. Hines, John Jay Hines (Edna Gail Hines) and Mark S. Hines (Cathy Hines); and his brother-in-law Harold Wayne Duncan. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
