He was predeceased by : his parents, Leo Shannon Stanger and Mable Linkous Stanger. He is survived by : his wife Anita Massey Stanger; his children, Matthew N. Stanger, John D. Stanger (Samantha) and Faith E. Stanger; his brother Glenn; his sister-in-law Doris Stanger; his sister Jennifer; his brother-in-law Gary Brumfield; and his grandchildren, Skyler, Audrey, Olivia, Abigail, Dakotah, Justin and Tucker. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
