He was predeceased by: his mother Lori Gabris. He is survived by: his wife Becky Gabris; his daughter Amber Sherwood; his father Rick Garbis; his son-in-law Aaron Sherwood; and his siblings-in-law, Greg Allison, Gilbert Garcia, Lisa Allison and Linda Garcia.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses (105 Tower Rd SE, Christiansburg, VA 24073).
