He was predeceased by: his parents, John Howard Absalom, II and Ann Tully Rigaud (Charles); his former wife Karen Lee Absalom; his son Michael Dean Rotsel; and his siblings, Mary Elizabeth Absalom Tuck and Howard David Absalom.
He is survived by: his daughter Kristin Poirier (Chris); his grandchildren, Taylor (Logan), Ashleigh, Allison, Tupper, Jr., Lexie, Stephanie and Leandra; his great grandchildren, Londyn and Teegan; his grandchild Tully; and his children, John Howard Absalom IV (Caroline) and Laura Michelle Absalom (Tupper). He is also survived by first cousins, in addition to many other relatives and friends.
