She was predeceased by : her parents, Granville Adams and Viola Blankenship Adams; her husband Benjamin Jack Bird; and her siblings, Radford Adams, Paul Adams and Violet Collins.

She is survived by : her daughters, Elizabeth Dean, Barbara Robinette, Theresa Hodge (Donnie) and Becky Bird; her sister-in-law Kat Mullins; and her close friend Michael McQuerry. She is also survived by six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren.
