He was predeceased by : his parents, James Edward and Dolly Meadows Shrewsbury; his wife Juanita Lee Shrewsbury; and his son Norman Dewayne Shrewsbury. He is survived by : his son Paul Shrewsbury (Donna); his grandchildren, Paul Shrewsbury, Jr. (Jackie), Ann Work (Don) and Jessica Douthitt (Jason); his great grandchildren, Dakota Bower, Dewayne, Hunter Shrewsbury, Sadie and Haley Crutchfield; and his siblings, Wyman and Dorothy.

A graveside service was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Sunset Cemetery (501 S Franklin St, Christiansburg, VA 24073).
