Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Richard Clare Cole (Christiansburg, Virginia), born in Elmhurst, Illinois, who passed away at the age of 87, on May 18, 2024. He was predeceased by : his parents, Dorothy Schook Cole and Clarence Marion Cole; and his sister Vickie Cole of Wasilla, AK.. He is survived by : his wife Carol Cloe Cole; his brother Walter Cole of Seattle, WA; his children, Ben Cole (Clare) of Beverly, MA, Amy Cole Rizzico (Sam Jr.) of Manchester and Christine Cole of Christiansburg; and his grandchildren, Isabel, Nathaniel Cole, Ava, Sam III and Alec Rizzico.

A celebration of life was held on Sunday, June 2nd 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Cambria Baptist Church (1310 Cambria St NE, Christiansburg, VA 24073).
