With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Violet Marie (Ruley) Campbell of Churchville, Virginia, who passed away on June 17, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Oscar Dean "Brownie" Campbell of Churchville; her parents, Cletis Rex Ruley, Sr. and Margaret Evelyn Ruley Ingram (Karr); her son Ronald Dean "Ronnie" Campbell; her grandson Wade G. Wilhoit; and her siblings, Cletis Rex Ruley, Jr., Calvin Eugene Ruley, Roger Lee Ruley, Richard Lee Ingram, Lorraine Adkins and Shirley McCray.

She is survived by: her children, Cindy M. Campbell of Churchville, Rita Wilhoit (Eddie) of Swoope and Charles O. "Charlie" Campbell of Churchville; and her grandchildren, Tabitha McDorman (B. J.), Justin Campbell (Ashley), Alli Dula (Day), Branson Wilhoit, Kristin Silverio (Ralpha) and Skylar Cupp.

It is suggested that those desiring make memorial contributions to the Jerusalem Chapel Building Fund, 314 Chapel Road, Churchville, VA 24421.
