She was predeceased by : her husband James Corliss Brady, Sr.; her parents, Harry Snead and Emily Bomar Snead of Virginia; and her siblings, Dorothy Holt, MaryAnn Reaves, Bobbie Sheffield, Ned Snead, Jean Thompson and Harry "Snookie" Snead.

She is survived by : her children, Emily Johnson of Clarksville, Mary Brady (Salah BenSalah) of Kansas City, MO and James C. Brady, Jr. of Clarksville; her grandchildren, Chad Johnson (Liesl), Ryan Johnson (Emili), Cathy Geehan, Jennifer Geehan and Matthew Geehan (Hannah); and her great grandchildren, Taylor Johnson and Brady Johnson. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Lake Country SPCA in Clarksville, VA.
