He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Florine Sempeles and Manuel Sempeles; his spouse Carol Tharpe; his daughter Evania George Fotini Sempeles; and his siblings, Tina Blalock (Gordon) of Salisbury, Andrea Zember (Woody) of Onley, Virginia Orndorff, Stephanie Orndorff (Mike) of Stephenson, Virginia and Michael Manuel Sempeles (Marian) of Stephens City, Virginia. He was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Shenandoah Valley Battlefield Foundation, c/o George Manuel Sempeles Fund, P.O. Box 897, New Market, Virginia 22844 for a memorial at the Battle of Third Winchester for all to enjoy.
