He is survived by: the mother of his children Ruth Barton; his children, Vicki D. Custer (Craig) of Stephenson, Virginia, Vincent L. Barton (Jennifer) of Stephenson, Jeffrey A. Barton (Vicki) of Martinsburg and Timothy W. Barton (Elizabeth) of Winchester, Virginia; and his brother Ray Barton (Judith) of Winchester. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; twenty-two great grandchildren.
