Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Dorothy Fay Adkins of Clintwood, Virginia, who passed away at the age of 77, on May 23, 2024. She was predeceased by : her parents, James Kelley and Louise Kelley (Standifur); her former life partner Ronald Adkins; and her brother James Kelley. She is survived by : her husband Roger Combs; her children, Kenneth Adkins (Bridget) of Wytheville, Virginia and Tammi Belcher (David) of Haysi, Virginia; her grandchildren, Josh Belcher (Kelly), Ashley Belcher (Aaron), Blankenship (Jeremy), Bailey Adkins and Lucas Adkins; her great grandchildren, Remi, Ronan Blankenship and Link Belcher; and her siblings, Gary Kelley (Julia) of Castlewood, Virginia, Trent Kelley of Castlewood, Virginia, Linda Clark (Wayne) of Winchester and Gail Nowlin of Clintwood. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Sunday, May 26th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Clintwood Funeral Home Chapel (348 Mc Clure St, Clintwood, VA 24228). A funeral service was held on Sunday, May 26th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Thursday, May 30th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Mullins-Adkins Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to any cancer charity of choice.
