With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joe Lamport (Cobbs Creek, Virginia), born in Britton, South Dakota, who passed away on June 30, 2018. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joe Lamport to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth Lamport and Clark Lamport; and his brother Steve Lamport. He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Hamilton Lamport; his daughter Kelly Lamport Rosales (James) of Dallas, TX; his stepchildren, Stacie Hamilton Baird (Scott), Stuart H. Hamilton, III (Anja Bauer) and Scott Hamilton (Lora); his grandchildren, Stuart H. Hamilton, IV, Shelbie Baird, Tate Hamilton, Spencer Baird, Reese Duncan and Leah Hamilton; his mother-in-law Louise Foster; and his sister-in-law Cathy DeRemer (Michael). He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews and close friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Kingston Parish, P. O. Box 471, Mathews, VA 23109.
