She is survived by: her children, Virginia "Mary" Woods of Concord, Shirley J. Thornhill of Lynchburg and Emory H. Johnson, Jr. of West Virginia; her son-in-law Bernard "Ray" Woods; her sisters-in-law, Odessa Calloway of Bedford and Maxine Calloway of Baltimore, Maryland.; her grandchildren, Murrell W. Thornhill, IV (Adrian) of Lynchburg, Emory "E. J." and Nikki McCoy (Mark); her great grandchildren, Imoni of Atlanta, GA, Tyler of Richmond, VA and Alexis Thornhill of Lynchburg, VA; and her sibling's children, Deborah Calloway and Marcus Calloway, Jr. (Linda). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
