He is survived by: his children, Kenneth Walter Nikolaisen, Jr. (Cindy), Cynthia Lee Contreras (Rick), Dwayne Elliott Nikolaisen, DeeAnna Nikolaisen Brockwell (Jimmy) and Catherine Jordan Nikolaisen; his siblings, Alice Nikolaisen, Carol Fox, Barbara McDowell (Ray) and Greg Nikolaisen (Sharon); his grandchildren, Chance Branden Sine (Tisha), Danielle Ann Nikolaisen, Kayla Elizabeth Nikolaisen, Kaitlyn Rebecca Nikolaisen, Phillip Kenneth Brockwell (Alyssa) and Brandon Elliott Nikolaisen; his close friends, Ray and Roxianne Parrish; and his devoted shepherd Bella. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren; many cherished nieces and nephews.
