We are sad to announce that on March 5, 2020, at the age of 98, Lottie Barnes (Coles Point, Virginia), born in Westmoreland, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Peter Alexander and Addie Rebecca Moon Allen; her husband John W. Barnes, Sr.; her son Herbert A. Barnes; her daughter-in-law Maureen Barnes; her children, Ann Carpenter and John W. Barnes, Jr.; her grandchildren, Deborah Cordell (Roger), Doug Carpenter (Jenni), John W. Barnes, III and Lisa Neunlist; and her great grandchildren, Nikki Mitchell (Chris), Katie Neunlist, Sarah Neunlist, Sam Cordell and Kaden Carpenter. She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Lottie's name to Coles Point United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 114, Hague, VA 22469.
