He was predeceased by : his parents, William McKinley Rotenberry and Dorothy Mae Cruise Rotenberry; his grandson Adam Rotenberry; and his siblings, Pauline Trump, Margaret Evans, Geraldine Salcines, Shelby Robertson, Lois Forrest, Freda Raymon, Sharon Rotenberry, Harold Rotenberry, Carl Rotenberry, Larry Rotenberry, Darryl Rotenberry and Sonny Rotenberry.

He is survived by : his wife Thelma Green Rotenberry; his sons, Dan Rotenberry (Rachel), David Rotenberry (Nancy) and Dale Rotenberry; his grandchildren, Jeremy Rotenberry, April Sepanski (Adam), Nicolas Rotenberry, Andrew Rotenberry, Justin Rotenberry (Casey) and Abbigail Rotenberry; and his brother J. C. Rotenberry. He is also survived by five great granddaughters; and one great grandson.
