It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Douglas McMillian of Collinsville, Virginia, who passed away on December 30, 2023, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his father James G. McMillian. He is survived by : his wife Regina; his daughters, Joanna Schwartz (Ryan) and Amanda Fenson (Alex); his grandchildren, Daniel, Isabella, Abe, Abby and Allison; his mother Janet McMillian; and his siblings, Lou Ann Neely (Chuck), Rod, Mark (Wanda), Phil (Gina) and Andrew (Debbie). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and lifelong friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests consideration for donations to Blue Ridge Cancer Care Research Institute, 2013 South Jefferson Street, Roanoke, VA in hopes that a cure can soon be found for multiple myeloma.
