It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gloria Mae Scott of Concord, Virginia, who passed away on July 4, 2021, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her mother Annie Pear Scott. She is survived by : her friend Reafus Armistead of Brookneal; her children, Marilyn McIvor (Stanley), Lorenza Clarke (Sonya) of Concord and Russell Scott (Veronica) of Concord; and her sisters, Gail Denson, Linda Cheatham of Concord and Barbara Franklin (Joel) of Lynchburg. She is also survived by two stepchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
