He is survived by: his sons, Johnny L. Peters of Covington and Kenneth B. Peters (Melinda) of Roanoke; his grandchildren, Margaret Taylar Peters, Joseph Blake Peters and Kristopher Blake Peters; his great grandchild Aidyn Peters; and his sisters, Sue Peters Potter (Bill) of Covington and Marian Peters "Chucky" Gibson of Richmond. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
