He was predeceased by : his parents, Melton Wright Sprouse and Lucinda Massie Sprouse; and his siblings, Lunsford, Henry, Leon, Wesley, Douglas Sprouse, Lillie Brouillette, Susie Tutrinoli, Mary Jane Ingram and Hilda Raines.
He is survived by : his wife Virginia Juanita Sprouse; his children, Ervine D. Sprouse, Jr. (Sharon) of Craigsville, Cynthia M. Botkin (Kevin) of Staunton, Cindy K. Sprouse of Quincy, Mass., Timmy W. Sprouse (Amy) of Craigsville and Teresa W. Sprouse of Craigsville; his siblings, Rodney Sprouse of Craigsville and Eudora Desper of Stuarts Draft; and his grandchildren, Holly Sprouse, Michael Ervine Sprouse, Jasmyn Botkin, Michael Lee Thornton, Brian Nichols, Austin Smith and Addie Smith.
