It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Janet Lee (Dinkle) Kirkland (Craigsville, Virginia), who passed away on January 23, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Frank Eugene and Lillian Lenore Dinkle (Martin); her brother Calvin E. Dinkle; her aunt Margaret D. Parker; her stepdaughter Jeanne Whitaker; and her great-nephew Derek G. Losh.

She is survived by : her children, Curtis Jackson of Craigsville and Melisa Byrd (Rob) of Swoope; her stepchildren, Peggy Shanklin of Charlottesville and Chuck Kirkland (Cathy) of Peoria, Arizona; her stepgrandchildren, Emily Shanklin, Jonathan Schoeller (Rhianna), Cassandra Kirkland and Devin Whitaker; her stepgreat-grandchild Tyanna; and her siblings, Fred Dinkle of Staunton, Alice Redifer (Bud) of Parnassus and Donald Dinkle (Phyllis) of Stuarts Draft. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Burial will follow in the Craigsville Community Cemetery. (Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic all current guidelines and restrictions will be followed.).
