He was predeceased by : his parents, Arthur Edgar and Catherine Theda Colvin (Puckett); his granddaughter Candace Colvin; and his brother Daniel Edgar Colvin. He is survived by : his children, Kent Colvin (Cindy) of Stuarts Draft, Sean Matthew Colvin of Waynesboro and Trina Roxanne Nichols (Brian) of Craigsville; his siblings, Jerry Colvin (Shirley) of Waynesboro, Harold Colvin, Sr. of Waynesboro, Shirley Humphreys (Durwood) of Staunton, Janet Salmons of West Point, Virginia and Judy Via (Walter) of West Point, Virginia; his grandchildren, Jason Jolly, Mandy Fox (Richard), Alisha Hawrylack (Michael), Ashley Robords (Derek), Kristen Colvin, Anna Colvin, Jared Colvin and Michaela Miller (Martin); and his great grandchildren, Jacob, Alaina, Anthony, Maria, Chase, Cooper and Liam. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Burial will be private in the Craigsville Community Cemetery. (Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic all current guidelines and restrictions will be followed.) Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive in Staunton is in charge of his arrangements.
