It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ellen J. Sylvester (Cross Junction, Virginia), who passed away on February 19, 2020, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Willard F. Mason and Elizabeth Rycraft Mason; and her sister Joan Wolford. She is survived by: her children, Douglas P. Sylvester of Cross Junction, VA and Deborah S. Gomke (William) of Front Royal, VA; her brothers, Art Mason of Hedgesville, WV and Willard "Wink" T. Mason of Gold Vein, VA; her grandchildren, David, Chris, Josh, Jennifer and Aaron; and her great grandchild Zaiden.
