He was predeceased by : his parents, Daniel Harrison Arnold and Mary Elizabeth Arnold; and his siblings, Nancy Lee Robinson and Robert Allen Arnold. He is survived by : his wife Jeanne Marie Thompson; his children, Diane S. Dillow of Purcellville, VA, Karen L. Sutherland of Sperryville, VA and Daniel A. Arnold (Brittany) of Woodbine, MD; and his grandchildren, Zachary and Lindsey Haun of Purcellville, VA. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
