She was predeceased by : her husband Harold Kurtz; and her son Preston Kurtz. She is survived by : her children, George Kurtz (Linda) of Charlottesville, Virginia and Joyce Fehnel (Richard) of Whitehall, Pennsylvania.; and her siblings, Grace Kern and John Kemmerer. She is also survived by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Blanche's memory to St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 206 E. Main Street, Bath, Pennsylvania 18014.
