He was predeceased by: his parents, John Bailey and Savilla Scott Bailey; and his brothers, Earl Bailey and Thomas Bailey. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Bailey; his sons, Joseph E. Bailey, Jr., Michael Bailey (Kelly) and Geoffrey Bailey (Kimberly); his brothers, Robert Bailey (Barbara) and Jerry Bailey (Joyce); his sister-in-law Joann Bailey; his grandchildren, Joshua Bailey (Selina), Michael J. Bailey, Kristen Bailey (Benjamin Hulvey), J. T. Bailey (Tiffany), Victoria Peters (Brandon), Jordan Bailey (Trinity), Brittany Cagle (Charles Swisher), Heather Bailey, Chad Bailey (Erin), Travis Thomas (Sophie), Taylor Thomas (Kelly) and Amber Bailey; and his great grandchildren, Hailey Bailey, Eloise Hulvey, Matilda Hulvey, Caroline Peters, Seth Bailey, Ian Bailey, Bobby Swisher, Leelynd Martin, Hayden Lamb, Tyler Bailey, Payton Thomas and Cambrie Thomas. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
