It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vi Kolonay (Warrenton, Virginia), who passed away on June 10, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Lann and Viola Lann; her siblings, Harry, Gregory, Cletus, Theresa Hughes and Lucille Wolanin; and her husband Andrew Eugene Kolonay.
She is survived by: her children, Andrew E. Kolonay Jr., Katrina Hovater (Steve) and Angela Wood (Paul); her grandchildren, Tiffany Williams, Earl Williams (Anna), Adam and Eric Wood; her great grandchildren, Kane and Cash Williams; her sisters, Rose Marie Moxley (James), Margaret M. Lann and Frances Shumaker (Edd); her friend Andy; and also Regis.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Moser Funeral Home, Inc. (233 Broadview Ave, Warrenton, VA 20186). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St John the Evangelist Catholic Church (271 Winchester St, Warrenton, VA 20186). A burial will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Culpeper National Cemetery (501 E Chandler St, Culpeper, VA 22701).
