We are sad to announce that on October 27, 2022, at the age of 61, John Wesley Swope (Daleville, Virginia), born in Roanoke, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, John H. Swope and Margie A. Hale Swope; and his brother Jimmy King. He is survived by : his son Michael Swope of Colonial Heights; his sisters, Sharon Stanley (John) of Atlanta and Carolyn Young of Roanoke; and his nieces, Katie O'Donnell (Sean) and Melissa Stanley.

“I am so hurt to hear of Wes passing . I only knew him thru golf but he was always the most kind considerate to me and those who worked with him. My sincere condolences to his family his golfing friends and coworkers . Ashley Plantation has lost a true manager and he was one of the best..he will be sadly missed. Dottie Webb”
