We are sad to announce that on April 12, 2023, at the age of 64, Armstead Henry Swann Jr. of Danville, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Armstead Henry Swann, Sr. and Barbara Ann Tucker Swann; his daughters, Marquisha Swann and Markesha Swann; and his sister Myrna Foster.

He is survived by: his daughter Latrice Swann of Danville, VA; his stepdaughters, Chinette Bigelow of Yanceyville, NC and Shikea McCollum of Greensboro, NC; and his siblings, Carol A. Swann of Danville, VA, Sharon Mills (Richard) of Danville, VA, Darol Swann, Sr. of Upper Marlboro, MD and Julian Swann (Eunice) of Temple Hills, MD. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
