As we bid Audrey Jean Wilson farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Audrey Jean Wilson is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Estelle Virginia Dalton Wilson and Albert Lee Wilson; her husband Harry Thomas Newman; her brothers, Aaron R. Wilson and Adrian T. Wilson; and her stepdaughter Sylvia Newman Amico.
She is survived by: her children, William "Bill" Daniel Glosson of Danville, VA, Patsy Glosson Bradford of Pflugerville, TX and JoAnn Grainger (Richard) of Opelika, AL; and her stepdaughter Brenda Newman Davis of Danville, VA. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Norris Funeral Services & Crematory - Mount Hermon Chapel (3995 Franklin Turnpike, Danville, VA 24540). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
