He was predeceased by: his parents, Monte Letcher Greene and Mary Etta Michael Greene. He is survived by: his wife Wanda Thomas Greene; his son Edward Greene (Monica); his grandsons, Evan and Justin of Ringgold, VA.; his daughter Jennifer Gibson (Jason); his grandsons, Mark and Grant of Danville, VA.; and his sister Lucy Greene Kinlaw (Al) of Fayetteville, NC..

The family requests that memorial donations be made to Grace Design United Methodist Church, 1064 Franklin Turnpike, Danville, VA.
