It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard Carlton Neal of Danville, Virginia, who passed away on June 5, 2021, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father N. Carlton Neal; and his close friend Ann Buchanan. He is survived by: his mother Meredith Hawkins Neal; his children, Chris Neal (April) and Dr. Elizabeth N. Sabato (James); the parent of his children Frankie S. Neal; his siblings, Cindy Neal and David Neal (Christi); and his granddaughter Rebecca C. Neal of James Joseph.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial donations be made to the Danville Life Saving Crew.
