Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Russell Stewart leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clara Mae Adkins Wells and Stewart Swanson Wells; and the mother of his children Charlotte Turner Terry. He is survived by: his sons, Jeffrey Stewart Wells (Angela McQueen Wells) of Danville, VA and Anthony Russell Wells of Aberdeen, NC; his grandchildren, Matthew Stewart Wells, Allye Elyse Wells, Connor Ross Wells and Isabelle Claire Wells; and his sisters, Sandra Wells Cook (Ronald) of Danville, VA, Bonnie Wells Daniel (Eugene) of Providence Forge, VA and Mary Wells Jones of Chatham, VA. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
