It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Silas Cappel (Davis Wharf, Virginia), who passed away on May 28, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Richard L. Cappel and Rosalie Prince Cappel. He is survived by : his sons, David R. Cappel of Rocky Mount, NC, Daniel Cappel of Davis Wharf and Robert Cappel of Davis Wharf; and his brother Herbert Roy Cappel (Vivian) of Poolesville, MD. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Doughty Funeral Home to assist the family with funeral expenses.
