He was predeceased by : his parents, Elsie Harper (Propst) and Frederick Harvey Harper; his siblings, Madeline Waybright, Reba Shaffer, Rebecca Bragg and Kelly Harper; and his grandchildren, Jeremy Harper and Carissa Florence Snider.
He is survived by : his wife Glenna Harper (Simmons); his children, Rosemary Taylor (Gregory) of Bridgewater, Cathy Harper of Roanoke, Susan Shull (Drew) of Dayton, Delmas Harper (Denise) of Bridgewater and Jeffery Harper (Mary) of Stuarts Draft; and his siblings, Joann Hiner (Paul) of Charlottesville, Donna Windle (Bobby) of Woodstock, Gary Harper (Connie) of Harrisonburg and Steve Harper of Franklin, WV. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
