He was predeceased by : his parents, Wilmer Sr. Shumaker and Allie Shumaker. He is survived by : his wife Wilma Mitchell Shumaker; his children, Thomas H. Shumaker (Cindy), Michael P. Shumaker (Chrissy), Bonnie Sue Strawderman (Gary) and Donna Shumaker; and his siblings, Owen Lee Shumaker, Ronnie Shumaker (Brenda), Allie Conley, Linda McCafferty and Betty Jean Shumaker. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews, and his cat, Buddy.
